About Us: The SkinMason Story
SkinMason was founded by Dr. Hussein Kanji and Andrew Walker, two friends with a passion for men’s skincare.
They knew they had something truly special on their hands when Dr. Jean Carruthers, the pioneer of Botox as we know it, gave the guys great feedback on their formulas and immediately jumped on board!
Dr. Kanji points out that SkinMason fills a mostly-ignored part of the skincare market, “As a doctor, I wasn’t happy with the products that were out there for men. I felt like nobody had cracked the right formulas, and nobody made it simple for us to use.”
You may recognize Andrew from the over 30 Hallmark movies he’s starred in. As he puts it, “Of course, part of my job is making sure my skin looks good, and that’s important to me. But working with our scientists and building something special with SkinMason is what I truly love.”
The SkinMason leadership team is rounded out because of a life-saving moment. CEO, and seasoned sales and operations executive, Nick Kanaan met Dr. Kanji in the ICU, where Hussein literally saved Nick's life. Dramatic, for sure, but it’s really how they met!
Cut to a few healthy years later, and here we are, trying to help men build the best skin they’ve ever had.
